Life Remote

As a figure in our culture, the person holding the remote has control. In an evening in front of the television, it may be represented by a commonly heard statement  ”...hand me the clicker.” There is control implied by the possession of that device. A bain in that is existence is the necessity of having more than one going at a time.

You are familiar with the remote-per-device-experience. One for volume and channels, one for the streaming box, changing sources, and "jumping-around activity" sort of erodes the feeling of control and diminishes power to make things happen the way you want.

The conveniences in life are rarely available to us the way we get the gratification of simply pointing and clicking at a black box to make it do what we want. Our life is full of messy and difficult choices. Events that take discipline, preparation, time, patience, effort, planning, saving, hard work and sacrifice.
